Juvéderm® ULTRA is an advanced smooth formulation of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers for longer lasting correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.

Juverderm® ULTRA is currently the only hyaluronic acid dermal filler available that contains the anaesthetic lidocaine. The inclusion of lidocaine provides the patient with a gentle injection experience and the result achieves a smooth and natural appearance. 

Hyaluronic acid (a natural skin component) provides elasticity and resilience of the skin. During the ageing process there is a decrease in the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin. Juvéderm® replenishes the skin's natural vitality and improves it's elastisity and smoothness.

Juvéderm® ULTRA is administered in small doses by injection into moderate to severe wrinkles and folds on the face. The folds which run from the bottom of the nose to the outer corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds) are typical examples of areas treated. The Juvéderm® ULTRA treatment temporarily fills and augments the treated areas.

Age 25
Ageing of the skin starts, old cells in the skin are replaced more slowly.

Age 30
Collagen and elastin start to break down. More fine lines develop. Skin under the eyes also begins to thin at this time.

Age 40
Furrows appear on the forehead and lines around the eyes and mouth become deeper.

Age 45+
Due to hormonal changes the skin becomes thinner. Much of the skin's strength and it's elasticity is lost.

Age 50 +
Age spots start to appear.

Are the results immediate?
Yes the aesthetic results are immediate and in fact the results will be seen right after your appointment.

Will I need time off work?
No, you could even have an appointment in your lunch hour and return straight to work!

Does Juvéderm® ULTRA have any side effects?
You may experience slight redness and swelling or bruising following your treatment. These side effects will not last and can easily be concealed by using makeup.

Is there anything I need to do before I have the treatment?
We advise to stop using aspirin or other anti-inflammatory drugs for a couple of days before treatment. This reduces the risk of bruising and bleeding at the injection point.

When will I need another injection?
You can book up touch-up injection and repeat injections to maintain the apperance. Your practitioner will advise you on this.
