HEAD OFFICE AND MANAGERIAL ROLES

Governance Information Facilitator

An exciting opportunity has arisen in-house for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to fulfil the post as Governance Information Facilitator. Based at either the company’s Head Office location in Sharston, South Manchester, or our hospital in Bromsgrove, the role is within the Governance and Compliance Department.

The postholder will provide the analytics function within the team supporting routine data activity reporting, projects and service re-design. The postholder will be primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with the data submission requirements to the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN), the maintenance and development of appropriate reporting schedules, according to specification as well as adding further value through expertise in data analysis and interpretation.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide data reports to support and fulfil the organisations compliance with the regulatory requirements of PHIN, CQC, HIW, HIS, production and dissemination of standard reporting in a timely manner.
  • Management, development and provision of clinical and related information reports to support the organisation in line with local and national regulatory requirements.
  • Provide ad-hoc data reports from clinical systems as required.
  • Comply with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
  • Provide assistance and support to the wider team related to GDPR as required.
  • Interpreting data reporting requirements and contributing to the implementation of new systems, processes and protocols.
  • To undertake any other duties including elements of data input that support the business.

Applicants should be of degree level or equivalent in a numerate subject and have at least two years working in a data or information environment. Whilst experience gained within an NHS or other healthcare setting would be highly advantageous this is not essential. Experience of PHIN reporting requirements is highly desirable.

Experience of working with MS Excel, MS Access and MS SQL Server along with an understanding of how these systems interconnect with other information systems is essential as is the ability to interpret and analyse complex information from multiple systems and present it in a clear and concise manner.

Applicants should be able to work autonomously and be flexible in their approach in order to contribute to the team.

The position is full time, 37.5 hours worked Monday – Friday.

Sales Ledger

We are currently recruiting an experienced Sales Ledger to join our team at Transform Hospital Group. The successful candidate will work remotely for the short term, and then be based at The Pines in Sharston, South Manchester.

You will have experience working in a busy finance team, you’ll be familiar with using Sage, and be fully competent in Microsoft Excel. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the integrity of the sales ledger.
  • Liaising with patients to ensure timely receipt of payment in accordance with company policy.
  • Developing efficient payment systems to ensure no outstanding balance prior to procedure.
  • Ensuring operations are paid in advance or approved finance is in place.
  • Ensuring strict month end deadlines are adhered to.
  • Developing efficient payment controls to ensure no outstanding balance prior to procedure.
  • Reviewing outstanding balance report on a daily basis and communicate to patient advisors any ongoing issues.
  • Daily reviewing of bank statement to identify bank transfers and allocate to patient account.
  • Uploading receipts and patient invoices into Sage accounting system.
  • Fully reconciling CRM receipts to Sage.
  • Ensuring finance payout is requested as soon as procedure takes place.

1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer

Helping to support users on the service desk and implement and support client systems, this is a varied and interesting position which will provide many development opportunities for the successful candidate. You will be based at our head office at The Pines Hospital in Sharston, South Manchester.

Ideally, you’ll have 1 – 2 years IT support experience and have a solid technical skillset. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal relationships with stakeholders at all levels are important in this position. You’ll be friendly and flexible, with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1stand 2nd Line technical support for issues and tickets, with ownership of the support desk tickets.
  • Completion of Projects as and when required in line with scope of works.

CLINIC-BASED ROLES

Surgeon Assistant – London, Nottingham & Leeds

The Surgeon Assistant role at Transform Hospital Group is unique. Delivering high-quality service, a Surgeon Assistant is the first point of contact for all patients – the brand ambassador who takes our patients through their treatment journey with us.

As a Surgeon Assistant, you will meet and exceed targets through the effective use of patient video, telephone and face to face consultations, as well as post-consultation follow up. To succeed, you will have strong interpersonal skills and a good knowledge of the treatments we provide. You should have expertise in active listening, rapport building and two-way communication. You will be highly motivated to achieve results and be driven to deliver your daily targets.

This role requires a full understanding of our range of cosmetic surgery procedures, experience working alongside consultants/surgeons, excellent organisational skills, a good grounding in theatre scheduling, and the ability to be a great team player.

Your main duties will include:

  • Responsibility for handling enquiries and booked consultations for all our cosmetic surgery treatments, ensuring that relevant and correct information is given to prospective patients and that organisational policies and procedures are followed.
  • Achieving set personal sales targets, within ethical guidelines.
  • Liaising with our surgeons to ensure they are fully briefed for each and every clinic.
  • Following up with patients after their consultations, answering any questions and supporting them through their treatment journey to surgery day.
  • Liaising with the clinic nurse if any supporting documentation or follow up appointments are needed.
  • Collecting deposits and setting up finance applications, whilst ensuring all balances are cleared in line with company expectations.
  • Ensuring that all related administration is correctly and promptly processed to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
  • Liaising with all Head Office departments when needed in relation to scheduling, operations and treatments.
  • Being proactive and taking personal responsibility for handling patient complaints.

Clinic Nurse

We are recruiting clinic nurses across the UK to provide clinical support to the Clinic Manager and take responsibility for clinical standards within the clinic. You will ensure that care provided is in line with Company Policies and Procedures and comply with Regulatory requirements.

Main responsibilities cover both clinical as well as administration and management:

  • Work closely with National Lead Clinic Nurse to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • To provide pre- and post-operative duties in line with Company Policies and Procedures.
  • To have overall responsibility for the inventory, control and organisation of clinical equipment, nursing staff and nursing/surgical procedures undertaken within the Clinic.
  • To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Work within Company systems in maintaining complete records and ensuring that all records are handled in line with current legislation. That all care given to, or communications with, individual patients is completely recorded, signed and dated.
  • Ensure that all complaints are recorded and handled in line with Company policies.
  • To provide appropriate and accurate reporting systems in line with Company Policy and on a timely basis. This is to include infection control, adverse events, accidents and incidents.

Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner

We are recruiting aesthetic nurse practitioners across the UK to provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care to patients attending the clinic. They will also need to practice independently all non-surgical treatments when competency has been validated in line with current legislation, guidance and Transform protocols.

They will be able to manage their own time effectively and to work autonomously. The post holder will work collaboratively with the Non-Surgical team to meet the needs of patients providing nurse leadership as required.

Ward Registered Nurses

Assisting the ward team, you will ensure that internal and external standards are maintained, in terms of patient care and other quality indicators. The role would suit an individual with a hands-on approach who is committed to providing excellence in customer service and patient care standards. You will be caring for our surgical patients upon admission and immediately post operatively.

Key elements of this role include:

  • Responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients and his/her relatives without direct supervision, and prioritising workload efficiently and effectively.
  • Interpretation of data and clinical information appropriately, supporting and supervising junior nurses when required.
  • Contributing to the development, evaluation and audit of specialist protocols and guidelines.
  • Utilising all resources efficiently and effectively, and assisting with the maintenance of stock levels for consumables and drugs through reporting, ordering and receiving items according to policy.
  • Supporting the implementation of quality initiatives within the clinical area and practice in the evaluation of patient outcomes.

Although cosmetic surgery experience is not essential, applicants should have experience of caring for hospital inpatients pre and post operatively. Surgical and wound care experience is essential.

We’re currently seeking experienced ODPs, scrub and recovery nurses to join our team at The Pines. In this role, you will deliver high quality care to patients undergoing cosmetic surgery through demonstration of clinical competence. You will be responsible for carrying out all relevant care without direct supervision, and be required to demonstrate procedures and supervise qualified and unqualified staff. You’ll take charge of the theatre unit when required and undertake other duties to ensure the smooth running of the department.

It will be your responsibility to promote and maintain a high standard of clinical care by continued professional education and practical participation. This will include:

  • Receiving the patients safely into the theatre suite, and ensuring that they are checked against notes and theatre list.
  • Acting as scrub nurse and assisting our surgeons whilst carrying out cosmetic surgery procedures, following completion of Theatre Practice work Based Competency.
  • Ensuring that a correct swab, needle and instrument count is completed in line with Transform Policy and Work Practices.
  • Acting as circulating nurse when required and acting as support to the scrub nurse during procedures.
  • Ensuring that procedures for patient identification, verification and correct site surgery are adhered to and ensure patient safety.
  • Taking part in the cleaning of the theatre suite and equipment after each list.
  • Maintaining effective communications skills with the multi-professional team to enhance care.

Key duties will include completing mandatory surgical checks prior to commencement of the theatre list, during and pre-wound closure in line with policy, ensuring that all best theatre practices and procedures are complied with, and helping to drive continuous improvement in theatre activities to continually improve quality of care.

Applicants should have either an ODP or RGN background with some post registration experience within a high acute speciality, although cosmetic surgery experience is not essential.

We are currently recruiting for a ward sister who, through their clinical expertise, will provide professional leadership to the ward team. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the organisation and management of the ward, including the supervision and development of team members. In addition, you will have the opportunity to continue your own self development, improving your management skills and increasing your professional experience. You’ll need to develop and implement a nursing strategy which will ensure that Transform Hospital Group remains at the forefront of private healthcare, whilst working according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and other relevant professional guidelines.

Key responsibilities

As Ward Sister at The Pines, your responsibilities will cover three main areas: Management, Professional Development and Education, and Governance, Quality and Risk Management.

These will include: 

  • Demonstrating effective financial control to ensure the ward remains appropriately staffed whilst remaining within the allocated budget
  • Ensuring that the ward has a sufficient skill mix to match the case mix of patients and can ensure patient safety and satisfaction at all times
  • Recruiting selecting staff in accordance with policy and procedure
  • Undertaking appraisals for senior team members, and motivating and building the team through effective communication
  • Accountability for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care within the framework of team nursing
  • Incorporating extended roles where appropriate to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
  • Ensuring patients’ rights, privacy, dignity and confidentiality are maintained at all times
