What is SculpSure?

If you are looking for a non-surgical method of fat reduction/removal, then SculpSure could be the answer for you. SculpSure, also called lipolysis, uses heat with a laser to target unwanted fat cells. The fat cells become damaged through heating them. The body then naturally eliminates these cells and they are removed permanently.

You will not need any downtime after SculpSure treatment. This is because it lets your body’s lymphatic system destroy fat cells without undergoing surgery or having anaesthetic. Using the latest in fat sculpting technology, SculpSure helps to permanently eliminate fat cells and give you the body you have been looking for.

What are the benefits of SculpSure?

At each 25-minute session, the fat cells in the area treated by SculpSure are reduced by up to 24%. It is suitable for both men and women and can treat areas such as stomach, back, flanks, thighs and chin. Within 6-12 weeks you will start to see the results of treatment.

SculpSure is non-invasive, and you will simply feel a mild tingling during the treatment. ‘Contact Cooling’ technology will keep you comfortable whilst the hyperthermic laser works to destroy the fat cells. You can carry on with your day as normal afterwards as there is no recovery time needed.

Are there any risks?

It is important to weigh up the risks involved against the benefits that the treatment can bring – just as with all types of medical aesthetic treatment.

SculpSure FAQs

More FAQs
Who is SculpSure suitable for?
SculpSure is suitable for anyone who has been dieting and exercising but still cannot shift stubborn pockets of fat. The best results will be achieved by patients whose BMI is lower than 30.
What does a SculpSure treatment involve?
SculpSure is a non-invasive, body sculpting treatment that takes only 25 minutes using a hyperthermic laser which heats the targeted fat tissue to 42-47 degrees Celsius. This process disrupts the structure of the chosen cells and breaks them down. You will feel a warm, tingling sensation during the treatment, but “Contact Cooling” technology will keep you feeling comfortable. Over the 6-12 weeks after the procedure, your body will remove the broken down fat cells through its natural process.
How quickly can I see the results of SculpSure?
You will notice the results within 6-12 weeks of treatment. If further treatments are required to get your desired results they can be performed after 6 weeks.
What is the difference between SculpSure and Coolsculpting?
Both CoolSculpting and SculpSure achieve the same goal of removing fat, but the manner in which this is achieved is different: Sculpsure uses heat to remove fat cells, while Coolsculpting uses freezing to remove them. SculpSure takes around 25 mins for most areas of the body, while Coolsculpting takes longer, with most areas of the body taking 35-45 mins to complete. SculpSure uses heat without damaging the skin. Coolsculpting numbs the skin and is not painful. Coolsculpting is better for those patients who wish to remove more fat cells.
Is SculpSure safe?
Yes, SculpSure is an FDA approved treatment which is carried out by our highly qualified medical aesthetic practitioners.

Next steps

Your journey step by step

Your consultation

Your journey with The Hospital Group begins with a consultation with our friendly medical aesthetic practitioners, this may be an Aesthetician, Nurse Practitioner or Doctor. During this conversation you can talk through why you’re interested in this treatment, how much it costs, whether you’re suitable for treatment, if you’ll need a one off treatment, or a full course, as well as potential treatment dates.

You can ask our medical aesthetic practitioners any questions as they are extremely knowledgeable and have undertaken extensive training. If you feel ready to proceed, we can carry out a laser patch test (where applicable) and book your first treatment for a date and time that suits you.

The treatment

You can ask your medical aesthetic practitioner any final questions on the day of the treatment. All pre- and post-treatment advice will be discussed prior to the day itself, so you will know exactly what to expect during your treatment, including how long it will take, and how it will feel.

For most medical aesthetic treatments, you will be able to leave the clinic as soon as your treatment has been completed, and you should be able to go about your normal day-to-day activities. If you experience any mild discomfort, redness or swelling, this will subside within the following days. Any specific aftercare requirements will be discussed at your consultation.

We are here to support you throughout your medical aesthetics journey, we believe that the highest quality aftercare is just as important as the treatment itself. If you have any questions or concerns at all, you can contact us at any time.
