How does the HydraFacial treatment work?
HydraFacial treatments involve six steps: detox, cleansing and extraction, brightening, extraction, hydration, and rejuvenation. The HydraFacial Skin Health for Life treatment uses antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid to boost hydration and protect skin from environmental damage. The DermaBuilder serum is used to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Britenol Vortex-Booster is clinically proven to minimise the appearance of brown spots. It's worth noting that a GylSal peel procedure can be also be used as part of the HydraFacial Acne and Acne Scarring treatment.
How much does a HydraFacial cost?

We know that each skin type has different needs and requires special attention. This is why the HydraFacial treatment will be tailored specifically around you. This means that the cost of your HydraFacial treatment can vary depending on the concerns which you wish to treat and the number of treatments you require. What does a HydraFacial treatment involve?
A typical HydraFacial treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes. First, your skin is exfoliated a process that removes any dead skin cells. At the same time, your skin receives botanical cleansers to start to soften impurities and start the hydration process. Next, a solution that softens any blockages in your pores is given before any blackheads and serum deposits are extracted using antibacterial honey extract. Vitamins and antioxidants are then put into the skin, giving your skin the nourishment, it needs and plumping up wrinkles to reduce their appearance. Finally, red and infrared light is used to calm any redness created on your skin giving you the ultimate in clean, smooth, soft and clear skin.
How quickly can I see results with HydraFacial?
HydraFacial starts to deliver results immediately. In fact, you might start to notice a difference after your very first treatment. For best results, HydraFacial is recommended as a monthly treatment as part of your usual skincare routine.
What is the typical recovery period for HydraFacial treatments?
There is no recovery period needed for HydraFacial treatments. You are free to continue with your day as soon as your treatment has finished.
What is a HydraFacial?
A HydraFacial is a skin rejuvenation facial that leaves your skin glowing. The facial includes exfoliation, softening of any blockages in your pores and a red and infrared light treatment, leaving you with the ultimate clean, smooth skin.
What are the benefits of a HydraFacial?
HydraFacial treatments are effective for every skin type and offer immediately visible results, no discomfort or downtime and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as helping to improve other skin impurities such as blackheads, congestion, brown spots and so on.
What is the difference between a HydraFacial treatment or Microdermabrasion?
HydraFacial and Microdermabrasion are both skin resurfacing treatments that remove dead skin cells and impurities from your skin. Microdermabrasion is quite abrasive on the skin using a rough tip to resurface the skin, it can cause a rough pulling effect on the skin which can cause redness or inflammation post-treatment. HydraFacial, however, is very gentle on the skin and uses vortex technology which uses a liquid to lift off dead skin cells, dirt, and oil from your skin. HydraFacial is often referred to as a total rejuvenation treatment as it combines various procedures in one session, including cleansing, exfoliation, serum infusion, lympathic massage and LED light therapy to create an overall effective yet gentle effect on your skin, whereas Microdermabrasion is just one procedure.

Your journey step by step

Your consultation

Your journey with The Hospital Group begins with a consultation with our friendly medical aesthetic practitioners, this may be an Aesthetician, Nurse Practitioner or Doctor. During this conversation you can talk through why you’re interested in this treatment, how much it costs, whether you’re suitable for treatment, if you’ll need a one off treatment, or a full course, as well as potential treatment dates.

You can ask our medical aesthetic practitioners any questions as they are extremely knowledgeable and have undertaken extensive training. If you feel ready to proceed, we can carry out a laser patch test (where applicable) and book your first treatment for a date and time that suits you.

The treatment

You can ask your medical aesthetic practitioner any final questions on the day of the treatment. All pre- and post-treatment advice will be discussed prior to the day itself, so you will know exactly what to expect during your treatment, including how long it will take, and how it will feel.

Recovery

For most medical aesthetic treatments, you will be able to leave the clinic as soon as your treatment has been completed, and you should be able to go about your normal day-to-day activities. If you experience any mild discomfort, redness or swelling, this will subside within the following days. Any specific aftercare requirements will be discussed at your consultation.

Aftercare

We are here to support you throughout your medical aesthetics journey, we believe that the highest quality aftercare is just as important as the treatment itself. If you have any questions or concerns at all, you can contact us at any time.
