Then I came to the hospital in Manchester, and they looked after me one hundred per cent. I met the surgeon, who was very supportive and friendly and explained to me what would happen. I couldn’t be happier with the service I got from them. The aftercare was really good. They kept in contact with me throughout, checking up how I was.
Before surgery I wouldn’t take my top off in public places, going on holiday it was quite uncomfortable, so I wore a t-shirt all the time when I was abroad. But since the surgery I can go out, go swimming, and take my top off.
The biggest difference for me is that I feel a lot more confident going out, socialising, even going on holiday. The advice I would give to anyone considering it is just to go ahead and do it, don’t put it off. I would definitely recommend The Hospital Group again.”
