Amr S. Khalil

He was a Plastic Surgery Consultant at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield and an International Plastic Surgery Fellow at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. After graduating from Alexandria University in Egypt in the year 2000, Mr Khalil was trained in Egypt in plastic Surgery, and Saudi Arabia before moving to the UK to complete plastic surgery training and to work as a locum consultant, with a total of 17 years of plastic Surgery experience.

Mr Khalil has continued to develop his surgical skills and experience throughout his career by attending training courses, which include microsurgery and advanced surgical skills courses.

All our surgeons work with us under practising privileges agreements and are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), holding a Licence to Practice. Our surgeons have an annual appraisal and continue to develop professionally during their careers. Once every 5 years, all doctors go through a GMC revalidation process. They are granted Practising Privileges via our Clinical Governance and Compliance Committee, and they carry their own professional indemnity insurance.
