Anna De Leo

Dr Anna De Leo is a highly accomplished Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon, with specialist expertise in microsurgery, breast surgery and body contouring.

Dr De Leo has extensive experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and is recognised for her meticulous surgical technique, patient-focused approach and commitment to providing care tailored to each patient's individual needs and expectations.

She completed her Medicine and Surgery degree at the University of Palermo, graduating with honours, before undertaking her specialist degree in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", which she completed in 2006.

Dr De Leo continued to develop her specialist expertise through advanced postgraduate training. She obtained a European Master's in Reconstructive Microsurgery from the University Autonoma of Barcelona and a Diploma in Microsurgery Techniques from the Italian Society for Microsurgery and Hand Surgery. She has also completed the European Hand Surgery Diploma through the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand.

Her advanced training in microsurgery and hand surgery has enabled Dr De Leo to undertake complex reconstructive procedures alongside her aesthetic practice, combining reconstructive expertise with a detailed understanding of aesthetics and natural proportions.

Dr De Leo has particular expertise in breast surgery, including breast augmentation, breast reconstruction, breast reduction, breast uplift and breast implant removal. She also specialises in body contouring procedures, including tummy tuck surgery, liposuction and mummy makeover surgery.

Her experience extends to procedures involving muscle repair and more complex reconstructive techniques, allowing treatment plans to be tailored to each patient's individual anatomy, concerns and goals.

Dr De Leo takes a holistic approach to patient care and believes that successful treatment involves more than surgical technique alone. She takes time to understand each patient's expectations, explains their treatment options clearly and ensures they feel informed and supported throughout their treatment journey.
