Humayun Ayub

Dr Humayun Ayub is a highly experienced Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over 20 years of experience across plastic and general surgery.

Dr Ayub has worked in Plastic Surgery for more than 20 years and has developed broad surgical expertise across reconstructive, aesthetic and general surgery throughout his career.

He has served as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon for more than 16 years, following five years as a Consultant General Surgeon in Pakistan. His diverse surgical background includes general surgery, thyroid surgery, paediatric surgery, urology, burns surgery and trauma surgery. His experience also includes working in challenging environments along the Afghanistan–Pakistan border.

Dr Ayub holds specialist qualifications in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery. His qualifications include Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery (FRCS Plast). He has also completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Aesthetic Surgery, further developing his specialist knowledge in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.

His professional development includes additional Royal College of Surgeons certifications in Facial and Periorbital Surgery, Cosmetic Breast Surgery and Body Contouring Surgery. These qualifications reflect his broad expertise across facial, breast and body procedures.

Dr Ayub is listed on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Throughout his career, he has combined extensive surgical experience with a patient-centred approach, taking time to understand each patient's concerns and develop an individualised treatment plan.

His approach focuses on clear communication, personalised care and clinical excellence, with the aim of helping patients make informed decisions about their treatment options.

They are granted Practising Privileges via our Clinical Governance and Compliance Committee, and they carry their own professional indemnity insurance.
