Mr Sirhan Alvi

Mr Sirhan Alvi is a highly experienced ENT and Facial Plastic Surgeon based in the North West, with specialist expertise in facial plastic surgery and rhinoplasty.

Mr Alvi is a proud Mancunian, having lived, studied and built his surgical career in the North West. He began his medical career as a General Practitioner in Stockport before making the transition into surgery.

He completed his higher surgical training across the Manchester and Mersey regions, developing broad experience in ENT and facial plastic surgery. Following his surgical training, Mr Alvi undertook a prestigious European Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery, further developing his specialist expertise in facial aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.

He is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons (EAFPS), reflecting his continued involvement in the specialist field of facial plastic surgery.

Since 2019, Mr Alvi has been a substantive NHS Consultant at Mid Cheshire NHS Foundation Trust. Alongside his NHS role, he also provides private treatment, offering a range of ENT and facial plastic surgery procedures.

Mr Alvi has particular experience in primary and revision septorhinoplasty and takes a considered approach to facial surgery. He believes patients should have a clear understanding of the available treatment options, including the potential benefits and risks, before deciding whether surgery is appropriate for them.

His approach is centred on treating patients as he would wish members of his own family to be treated. During consultations, he takes time to understand each patient's concerns and provides balanced, individualised advice. He recommends surgery only where he believes there is appropriate evidence that it can be effective and where the potential benefits clearly outweigh the risks.
