Tarek Eltantawy

Dr Tarek Eltantawy is an accomplished Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with specialist expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.

Dr Eltantawy graduated with honours from Alexandria University in Egypt, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh). Following four years of intensive surgical training in Egypt, he continued his professional development in the United Kingdom after relocating in 2017.

He achieved Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS) in 2016 and subsequently obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery (FRCS Plast) in 2022.

Throughout his career, Dr Eltantawy has trained and worked at a number of respected healthcare institutions, including Countess of Chester Hospital, Bedford Hospital and The Royal London Hospital. At The Royal London Hospital, he completed an advanced fellowship in microsurgery, further developing his skills in complex reconstructive procedures.

In 2023, Dr Eltantawy undertook a prestigious aesthetic surgery fellowship at The London Clinic on Harley Street. This further enhanced his expertise in advanced cosmetic surgery techniques and aesthetic treatment planning.

Dr Eltantawy has developed particular specialist interests in facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, breast surgery, body contouring and male chest surgery. His experience encompasses a broad range of aesthetic procedures, allowing him to develop treatment plans based on each patient's individual anatomy, concerns and expectations.

His approach combines detailed treatment planning with advanced surgical techniques, with a focus on achieving balanced and natural-looking outcomes. He believes in tailoring treatment to each individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Eltantawy remains committed to continued professional development and maintaining high standards of patient safety and care. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is registered with the General Medical Council in the UK and the Egyptian Medical Council.
